The Kwikset Downtown Square features a latch faceplate dimension of 1" x 2-1/4" with round, square faceplates and a 1" round collar. This mechanical residential lockset is single cylinder in function and uses a 5-pin Kwikset SmartKey cylinder. The crossbore size is 2-1/8" or 1-1/2", and it features a round corner deadbolt strike designed for doors within the thickness range of 1-3/8" to 1-3/4". Finished in satin chrome (US26D) with a square rose escutcheon design and made from zinc with a dimension of 2-1/2" square and a 1/2" projection, this lockset from the Signature Series line is about 50% less protrusive than standard deadbolts. The reversible handing lock comes with adjustable 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backset and a strike dimension of 2-1/4" x 1-5/8" x 1-1/8" lip.
