The Schlage Commercial L Series Mortise Lockset is a high-quality mechanical commercial lockset designed for entry/office with deadbolt function. The latch faceplate dimensions are 1-1/4" x 8", with a strike dimension of 4-7/8" and a backset of 2-3/4". The lock features a zinc base material, ANSI strike, reversible handing, and a bright chrome finish. It has a UL Listing Type for use on 3-hour fire doors and is backed by a limited 10-year mechanical and 3-year electro-mechanical warranty., , This Grade 1 commercial lockset includes an entry/office lock with deadbolt functionality, allowing the latchbolt to be retracted from either side and locked by a 20° turn. The bolt can be thrown by a 90° turn, retracting both the deadbolt and latchbolt using either key or handle. Additionally, the auxiliary deadlock feature ensures security while maintaining inside free access at all times. This product meets ANSI/BHMI certification standards A156.13-2012 and is suitable for mortising inside the edge of the door for secure installation.
