The 1690 Series Falcon Vertical Rod Device, measuring 36" in length, is a top-quality exit device falling under the Exit Devices category. Its design involves a concealed vertical rod touchbar, installed internally in the stile of doors with a minimum stile size of 1-3/4" and thickness also of 1-3/4". This configuration is well-suited for moderate traffic areas as the concealed nature of the rods and latch mechanisms ensures smooth operation. Additional durability comes from the cast metal cover plates and end caps. A standout feature of this device is the single-point dogging feature in the housing, which allows for unrestricted traffic flow when deactivated.
