The Von Duprin 98 Series Rim Exit Device is a high-quality, durable exit device designed for use on commercial doors. Made of forged brass with a satin chrome finish, this rim device has an overall length of 45" and is suitable for use on 4' doors with a minimum stile size of 4-1/2". The device features a deadlocking latchbolt for added security and improved performance at a standard cost., , This UL Listed exit device is part of the 98 Series and comes with a limited 10-year mechanical and 3-year electro-mechanical warranty from the manufacturer. It is designed for "Exit Only" functionality and does not include trim or cylinder. The Quiet One® Fluid Damper technology decelerates the pushpad on its return stroke, reducing noise associated with exit device operations. Each order includes a screw pack for installation on metal or wood doors ranging from 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" thick.
